The NRV Creative Reuse Center is a nonprofit organization that will take your reusable scraps and selected waste materials for use in art, craft, and science projects in area schools and children’s programs. See their Facebook page for a list of the types of materials they accept.

The NRV Habitat ReStore on Franklin Street in Christiansburg accepts donations of used furniture, appliances, and building materials which it then sells to support the construction of homes for people in need. More information is available on their web site.
